Something about print design

An interesting experience that got me involved in fashion industry. One can say that I continued with illustrations on a different medium.

Besides the opportunity to create unique graphics, textile design provides one more aspect of challenge – selection of print technique required for the product. By adding embroidery, glitter, velvet, rhinestones... product gets three-dimensionanality and therefore more attractive appearance than can be achieved on paper. By working with textile apparel there are also available accessories like: badges, buttons, decorative ribbons, chains... that should be incorporated into the design.

As a Designer I was creating playful prints for childrenswear, both clothing & accessories. I have designed paterns for fabric and wallpapers.
